How do I confirm my email?

When you sign up, we email you a link titled Confirm your email for offtheave. Open it within 24 hours and your account is confirmed. You can't sign in with your email and password until you do.

Step by step

1. Open the email from offtheave in the inbox you signed up with.
2. Select the confirmation link.
3. You'll see Your email is confirmed. Select Sign in to continue (or Set up your profile if you're already signed in).
4. Finish setting up your profile.

Who needs to confirm

• Everyone who signs up with an email and password.
• Anyone who signs up with a wallet, or with X, Reddit or another service that doesn't share an email, and types an email in.
• If you sign up with Google or Discord and they share a confirmed email address, you don't need to confirm it again.

Didn't get the email?

• Check your spam, junk and promotions folders.
• Make sure you signed up with the address you're checking.
• Ask for a new link: try to sign in, and when you see Confirm your email to sign in, select Send a new link.

The link expired or didn't work

If you see That link didn't work, the link is more than 24 hours old or was already used. On that page, enter your email and select Send a new link. If you already confirmed, just select Sign in.

Limits

• Each link works for 24 hours.
• Sending a new link cancels the older ones, so always use the newest email.
• You can ask for three new links an hour. After that you'll see We already sent a few links; wait an hour and check spam in the meantime.

Using Forgot password? on the sign-in page and choosing a new password from that email also confirms your address, since it proves the inbox is yours.
