Anthem and voice intro
Your Anthem is a song you pick to feature at the top of your profile, where visitors can play it. Your voice intro is a short recording of you that sits on your profile too. Set both in Edit profile under Anthem and voice intro. They save right away.
Set your Anthem
- Go to Edit profile and select Add an anthem. (On your profile, you can also use the More menu and select Add an anthem.)
- In Pick your anthem, browse Recommended for you and Trending this week, or search by song title or artist.
- Tap a song's cover to hear a 30-second preview.
- Select Choose. You'll see Anthem updated.
- You can pick any public song on offtheave, or one of your own.
- If you pick someone else's song, they get a notification.
- To change or remove it, open the ⋯ menu on your Anthem and select Change anthem or Remove from profile.
Record a voice intro
- In Edit profile, select Add a voice intro.
- Tap the microphone. Your browser asks for microphone access the first time.
- Record, then listen back.
- Tap the check mark (Use this voice note) to add it. You'll see Voice intro added to your profile.
To replace or remove it, open Voice intro options (⋯) and select Record a new intro or Remove from profile.
Limits
Voice intros are voice notes, so they follow your plan's voice note limit. The recorder shows how long you can record. On a plan without voice notes, you'll see Voice notes aren't part of your plan and an option to upgrade.
Who sees them
Everyone who visits your profile sees your Anthem and voice intro. If you haven't set one, nothing shows in its place for visitors.
Troubleshooting
- A song doesn't show up in search: try the artist's name, or fewer words from the title.
- "Couldn't set your anthem": the song may be private or followers-only. Pick a public song.
- The microphone doesn't start: allow microphone access for offtheave in your browser's site settings, then try again.
