Can I have more than one account?
On this page
No. Our Terms allow one account per person. Extra accounts made to get around a ban, to get around your plan's limits, to fake engagement or to pretend to be someone else are against the rules, and they can be blocked or banned automatically.
What the rules say
- One account per person.
- Don't create accounts to get around a ban.
- Don't create accounts to fake engagement, like extra plays, likes, follows or votes.
- Don't create accounts to pretend to be someone else.
What happens with linked accounts
We watch for new accounts made to get around the rules. For example:
- A new account linked to a banned account is banned too. You'll see a message saying the account is linked to another account that's banned.
- A new account made while your existing account is at its plan's storage limit can't be created. You'll be asked to upgrade that account's plan or free up space in it instead.
If an account was banned only because it was linked to another banned account, and that other account's ban is later lifted, the linked account is released the next time it signs in.

Need more room or features?
Instead of a second account, upgrade the one you have. Paid plans raise your storage and upload limits and add more tools. See Free vs. paid accounts.
Want a different name or a fresh start?
- You can change your display name anytime in Edit profile.
- If you really want to start over, you can delete your account and then sign up again. Deleting is permanent.
Think we got it wrong?
If a new account was blocked and you believe it's a mistake, contact us and pick Account & sign-in. Include the usernames involved.
