How do I pin a post to my profile?
Open the post's Post options menu (⋯) and select Pin to your profile. The post then shows first on your profile's Feed tab with a Pinned label.
Step by step
- Find the post, on your profile, in your feed or on the post's own page.
- Select the ⋯ (Post options) button on the post.
- Select Pin to your profile. You'll see Pinned to your profile.
What you can pin
- Posts you wrote.
- Posts other people wrote on your profile.
You can pin one post at a time. Pinning a new post replaces the old one, which goes back to its normal place in your feed.
Unpin
Open Post options on the pinned post and select Unpin from your profile.
Who sees it
A pinned post keeps its own privacy setting. If it's for followers only or only you, visitors who can't see it won't see it pinned either. See Who can see my posts and uploads?
Good to know
- Pinning works for posts. To feature a song on your profile, set it as your Anthem; see Anthem and voice intro.
- Deleting a pinned post removes it from your profile.
