Selling fees
When you sell something, offtheave keeps a platform fee and you keep the rest. The share you keep depends on your plan at the time of the sale and on how the buyer paid. On card sales, the card processing fee also comes out of the sale.
What you keep on each plan
You can also see your current rates in Settings → Payments, under Payouts.
How a sale is split
Card sales
- Start from what the buyer paid for your item, after any promo code.
- The platform fee for your plan is taken from that.
- Your share of Stripe's card processing fee is taken too. If one checkout had several items, the fee is split across them by price.
- The rest is sent to your Stripe account. See How do I get paid?
XP sales
- The platform fee for XP sales on your plan is taken, and the rest is added to your XP balance right away. There's no processing fee.
- XP from sales counts toward your level like other XP you earn, and it isn't limited by daily earning caps.
$DORA sales (when available)
Buyers who pay in $DORA send it straight from their wallet to yours at your listed price. The token itself may withhold a small network transfer fee.
Good to know
- The fee is fixed at the moment of each sale. Upgrading later doesn't change past sales, and neither does downgrading.
- Promo codes you create come out of your share: the buyer pays less, and the fee and your share are worked out from the discounted price.
- Sales are final, except when a file is missing or broken and can't be fixed, or when the law requires a refund. See the Terms.
- You're responsible for any taxes you owe on your sales.
See what you've earned

- Creator Studio → Sales lists every sale; filter by Card, XP or $DORA, by type and period, and click Export CSV.
- Your Purchases page shows each sale with what you kept.
