Which plan is right for me?
Start with what you actually do on offtheave: how much you upload, whether you sell, and which creator tools you use. Free covers listening, posting and uploading within its limits. Bronze, Silver and Gold add room and features step by step, and you can change or cancel at any time.
Compare the plans
Every number below comes straight from the site's current settings, so it's always up to date.
You can see the same comparison, with prices for monthly and yearly billing, on the Plans and pricing page.
How to estimate what you need
- Check your storage. Open Settings → Membership. The Music storage and Video and shorts storage meters show how much you've used of your plan's limit. If you're close to full, or you plan to upload a mixtape or several videos, look at the "Storage and uploads" rows above.
- Check your file sizes. Each plan also has a largest single upload for songs and videos. If a WAV master or a long video is bigger than your plan allows, you'll need a plan with a higher limit.
- If you sell, compare what you keep. Higher plans keep a bigger share of each card and XP sale. If you sell regularly, the difference can pay for the plan. See Selling fees.
- If you make music or covers here, compare the Booth and Canvas rows: tracks per session, saving sessions to your account, effects, saved designs and download sizes.
- Look at the extras you care about: promo codes for your store, scheduled releases, analytics, editing posts and comments, hiding your activity, longer voice notes and daily downloads.
Not sure yet? Stay on Free and upgrade when you hit a limit. The upload forms and the plan pages tell you when something needs a higher plan.
Monthly or yearly
- Use the Monthly / Yearly switch at the top of the Plans page to see both prices. Yearly costs less than paying monthly for 12 months; the switch shows how much you save.
- Card plans renew automatically until you cancel. XP plans pay for one month or one year at a time and don't renew on their own. See How can I pay?
Good to know
- You can move up or down later. See How do I upgrade or change my plan?
- If you move to a smaller plan or back to Free, nothing you've uploaded is deleted. You just can't upload more until you're under the new limit.
- Plan limits are set by offtheave and can change. The tables on this page and on the Plans page always show the current values.
