How do I get paid?
Card sales are paid out through Stripe. Set up payouts once in Settings → Payments: Stripe asks for your details and bank account, and after that your share of each card sale is sent to your Stripe account, which pays it to your bank. XP sales go to your XP balance, and $DORA sales go straight to your wallet.
Set up payouts
- Go to Settings → Payments.
- In Payouts, choose Where your bank is, then click Set up payouts. You're taken to Stripe.
- Follow Stripe's steps: your identity, contact details and the bank account to pay into.
- When you finish, Stripe sends you back to Settings → Payments.
- The Payouts label shows On once Stripe has everything. You can now set dollar prices when you upload or edit.
Payouts are available to sellers in the US, the UK, the EU, Canada, Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein. Stripe pays you in your local currency. Your country can’t be changed once your Stripe account is made; if you picked the wrong one, contact us under Billing & payouts on the Contact page.
Payouts are on only when Stripe has confirmed your details and enabled both payments and payouts. That can take a few minutes after you finish.
After a card sale
- Your share is worked out from the sale (see Selling fees) and sent to your Stripe account when the buyer's payment goes through.
- Stripe then pays your balance to your bank on its payout schedule.
- Click Stripe dashboard in Settings → Payments to see your Stripe balance, payouts and bank details. Changes to your bank account are made there.
Until payouts are on, buyers can't pay you by card. Dollar prices stay hidden, and anything priced only in dollars is kept out of the Market and off your pages' Buy buttons. Items with an XP price (or $DORA, if you accept it) can still be bought. Card buying turns on by itself as soon as Stripe finishes setting you up.
Track your earnings
- Your earnings in Settings → Payments opens Creator Studio → Earnings: card sales after fees, XP earned, $DORA earned, number of sales, best sellers.
- Creator Studio → Sales: every sale with filters and Export CSV.
- Purchases → Sold: each sale with what you kept.
XP and $DORA
- XP sales don't need Stripe. Your share is added to your XP balance right away; spend it on offtheave or withdraw it as $DORA (see Withdrawing XP as $DORA).
- $DORA sales (when available) need a linked wallet in Settings → Payments and go straight to that wallet.
Troubleshooting
- The label says "Unfinished". Stripe needs more details. Click Finish setup. If Stripe reported a problem, it's shown there too.
- You finished on Stripe but it still says Off or Unfinished. Wait a minute and click Check again.
- A card sale shows in Sales but not in Stripe. Contact us under Billing & payouts on the Contact page with the sale date and item.
- Questions about a Stripe payout or your bank. Use the Stripe dashboard; payouts follow Stripe's terms.
