How can I pay?
On this page
You can pay by card (through Stripe) or with XP you've earned on offtheave. Where $DORA payments are available, you can also pay with $DORA from a linked Solana wallet. Everything you buy, from plans and badges to boosts, songs, beats and mixtapes, goes through your cart.
Card
- Card payments are handled by Stripe. offtheave never sees or stores your card number.
- In your cart, click Check out by card. You finish paying on Stripe's checkout page and come back to offtheave when it's done.
- Plans paid by card renew automatically every month or year until you cancel.
- Card payments get a Stripe receipt, listed on your Purchases page.
XP
- 1 XP is worth $0.01 when you spend it on offtheave. Your balance is on the XP page and in your cart.
- In your cart, click Pay with XP. It's taken from your balance right away; there's no second step.
- Plans, badges and boosts can always be paid with XP. Songs, beats and mixtapes can be paid with XP when the seller has set an XP price.
- A plan paid with XP covers one month or one year and doesn't renew on its own.
$DORA (when available)
When $DORA payments are switched on, a $DORA option appears when you buy, and a Pay with $DORA group appears in your cart. See Do you accept $DORA?
How the cart splits payments
- When you click Add to cart, you choose how you'll pay for that item.
- Your cart groups items by payment method (Pay by card, Pay with XP, Pay with $DORA), each with its own total and checkout button.
- If you have items in more than one group, check out each group separately.
- A promo code goes in the Promo code box and applies to the card and XP groups where it's valid.
Guests can fill a cart; it's kept in that browser. You need to sign in to check out, and your cart comes with you.
What we don't accept
PayPal is no longer used. Old PayPal payments still appear in your history, marked PayPal.
Troubleshooting
- An item is flagged in your cart. Something changed (it's no longer for sale, the price changed, or you already own it). Remove it to check out the rest.
- Your card was declined. Stripe shows the reason on its checkout page. Try another card; your cart is kept.
- "You need more XP". The XP option is off until your balance covers the price. See What is XP?
