Withdrawing XP as $DORA

Updated · 2 min read

You can move XP from your offtheave balance to fedora.foundation, where it becomes $DORA. You start the withdrawal on fedora.foundation, using the same Solana wallet that's linked to your offtheave account. Withdrawing lowers your XP balance but never your level.

Before you start

  1. Link a Solana wallet to your offtheave account: Settings → Payments → $DORA wallet → Link a wallet.
  2. Use that same wallet on fedora.foundation. Your offtheave XP is found by the wallet address, so a different wallet shows 0 XP.

Step by step

  1. On the XP page, under Spend or withdraw, click Withdraw as $DORA. It opens fedora.foundation.
  2. Connect the wallet that's linked to your offtheave account.
  3. fedora.foundation shows how much offtheave XP is available to withdraw. That's your spendable balance, not your lifetime XP.
  4. Choose how much to withdraw and confirm there.
  5. The XP is taken from your offtheave balance and credited on fedora.foundation. The rate from XP to $DORA is set by fedora.foundation.

What to expect

  • It's all or nothing: if you ask for more than your balance, nothing is taken and you're told what's available.
  • If the connection drops mid-way, fedora.foundation retries the same request. You won't be charged twice, and XP isn't lost.
  • The withdrawal is listed under Withdrawn in the History tab on the XP page, and the total you've withdrawn is shown there.
  • Your level stays the same. See Levels.
  • Withdrawals can't be reversed from offtheave.

Who can't withdraw

  • Suspended or banned accounts.
  • A wallet linked to more than one offtheave account. Link each wallet to one account only.

Troubleshooting

  • fedora.foundation shows 0 XP. The wallet you connected isn't the one linked in Settings → Payments, your balance is 0, or your account isn't in good standing.
  • Your offtheave balance is lower than you expected. Check the History tab; spending, withdrawals and reversals are all listed.
  • Something went wrong on fedora.foundation. Contact fedora.foundation's support first. For questions about your offtheave balance, use Billing & payouts on the Contact page.
