Inviting friends (referrals)

Share your invite link, and when someone signs up with it and confirms their email, you earn XP. Your link is on the XP page in the Invite friends card.

Get your link

1. Open the XP page. The Invite friends card is in the Overview tab (it also appears in the side column of your feed).
2. Click Copy, or Share invite where it's shown, to send it.

Your link is your sign-up page with your username added, like /register?ref=yourname.

How your friend signs up

1. They open your link. The sign-up form fills in Invited by with your username. They can also type your username there themselves.
2. They create their account with email and password.
3. They confirm their email from the message we send.

The invite only counts on the email sign-up form. If your friend signs up with Google, Discord or a wallet instead, the invite isn't recorded.

The reward

• You earn XP when your friend confirms their email, not when they first sign up.
• Each new account can reward only one person, once.
• The current amount is shown on the Invite friends card and in the list below.

• The reward appears under Earned in the History tab on the XP page and counts toward your level.

Rules

• Inviting yourself doesn't count. Creating extra accounts to collect rewards breaks our rules and can get the accounts blocked. See Can I have more than one account?
• Accounts blocked at sign-up don't earn a reward for anyone.
• Referral rewards are set by offtheave and can change.

Troubleshooting

• You didn't get XP. Check that your friend confirmed their email, signed up with email rather than Google, Discord or a wallet, and that Invited by had your username.
