Shamieka “Buddie Pachino” Thomas was born on October 20, 1990 in Columbus, Georgia. Being born and raised on the south side was a struggle for her and her family. This gave Buddie the drive and determination to achieve more and get out of the hood. She began having an ear for music while growing up around three uncles who played a lot of rap, hip hop, and r&b music. She eventually discovered a passion for writing, singing, and dancing. They were the first females in Columbus, GA history to have their hit singles retired off of Foxie 105’s Battle of the Beats twice, with their songs “Rainman” in the spring of 2010 and “Girlz” in the fall of 2011. After being on several local record labels, Buddie remains unsigned. She is the 1st place winner in the rap category of the 2010 and 2016 Foxie 105 Spring Break Talent Show. She’s performed at various venues across Georgia and Alabama, both solo and as a group artist. She has opened up for artists such as the Trina, Pastor Troy, Slick Em of Pretty Ricky, Dirty Boyz, Prince Santana, V.I.C., Roscoe Dash and more. Both of her solo projects including mixtape “Buddie Pachino vs. Buddie Da Therapyst” and EP "5 Years Later" together have sold more than 50,000 copies throughout Georgia and Alabama alone. She is also noted for her work in helping to develop the artists Y.N.C.K., the former teen sensation of Georgia who went on to win in BET's 106th & Park Wild Out Wednesday All Star Edition. She is currently an artist on the move with a style that can’t be compared. Life has brought her trials as it does everyone, and she refuses to give up on this dream. She puts her all into every verse she writes and never forgets where she comes from. Her future is bright and at the age of 26, she proves to be one of the hottest female rappers anyone has presented. less
