I wrote this when I was 19...I'm sorry it took nearly a decade to offer it publicly.  During that time, I used it as a mental conduit between my memories and I, a musical thread that I could pull. My only purpose: to remember a time when I was helplessly in love, devoted to an individual who was as perfect as I was flawed.  Blessings such as the love we experienced are as powerful as they are destructive when they're not handled with maturity, foresight and purity of heart.  May the universe bless us as we continue to grow and learn to trust each other, and more importantly, ourselves.
