Who On Earth “Jane" label: WoeToYou Music YouTube: https://youtu.be/iY0bqHrruBs?si=bGhNRpMETt59YJyA ISRC: QT3F62537312 Who On Earth is the New Jersey quintet delivering hard-hitting hooks, airtight instrumentation, and a powerful combination of pummeling grooves and piercing riffs. With a genuine grit and gusto, the band—vocalist Coosh, bassist Pete Rizzi, drummer Howie Fallon, and guitarists Johnny James Barone and Jimmy Kocha—has picked up the torch for hard rock and heavy metal, forging a sound that pays homage to rock’s past while ushering in its future. The band was born from a simple yet essential question: “Who On Earth is going to bring back good rock and metal?” Longtime friends Coosh and Pete, who had spent years performing covers in the New York tri-state area, chose to focus entirely on composing original music in 2020. They quickly amassed ten songs, drawing on a collective influence spanning the new wave of British heavy metal, classic rock, grunge, and the great bands of the 90's and early 2000's. They returned to their roots, resurrecting melodies, hooks, and guitar solos, but upgraded everything with a modern, powerful production. From Dive Bars to Studio Success The group made their bones through countless gigs across the New York tri-state area, developing a formidable live reputation. In 2021, they hit the studio with renowned producer/engineer/mixer Mike Orlando (Category 7, Adrenaline Mob) at his Sonic Stomp Studio in New York, NY. The result was their full-length debut album, Blame’ (October 2022), which established their commitment to powerful storytelling, nodding with horns up to influences like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Alice in Chains, and Tool. The lineup was cemented with the arrival of drummer Howie Fallon in March 2024, whose playing style elevated the band’s dynamic. This lineup went on to release the acclaimed EP, Smoke & Mirrors (March 2025). The EP features five originals that tackle themes of corporate deception and media bias and includes their hit cover of Toto's ‘Hold the Line’. Their heavy, guitar-driven remake of the song quickly became the band's most-streamed track to date. The Mission: Filling the Void Who On Earth’s mission is clear: to fill the void for genuine rock 'n' roll and to inspire a new generation of musicians. The band is currently planning the release of another full-length album for early 2026, which will once again be produced by Mike Orlando. With new management and plans for extensive touring, Who On Earth is set to prove that hard rock is still valuable, relevant, and can't be allowed to die. Current Lineup Coosh – Vocals Pete Rizzi – Bass Johnny James Barone – Lead guitar Jimmy Kocha – Lead guitar Howie Fallon - Drums Behind "Jane" The song portrays the frustration of a lover who is not taking the writer’s desire for a relationship seriously. He accuses her of playing games and leading him on when he wants something more than a casual affair. Our goal was to go big-time retro with our look, so we bought hippie/disco costumes off Amazon to play the part: wigs, gold chains, bellbottoms, 70s-style mustaches, etc. We got our good friend Sharon Lia to play the role of Jane, and her facial expressions are priceless. Despite the repeated attempts by band members to impress her, she will have none of it! We wanted to offer something funny and lighthearted (for a change!). Sog Lyrics: Jane, you’re making me feel like its already over There's a time for love and a time for letting it be, baby Jane, you're playing a game called, hard to get by its real name Making believe that you just don't feel the same Jane, you're playing a game you never can win, girl You're staying away so I'll ask you where you've been, baby Like a cat and a mouse (cat and a mouse) From door to door and from house to house Don't you pretend you don't know what I'm talking about Were all those nights we spent together, yeah yeah Only because you didn't know better I gotta know Jane you're playing a game, you're playing a game, playing a game (Jane, Jane, Jane) Oh Jane, you're playing a game of hide and go seek Jane, you're playing for fun but I play for keeps, yes I do Jane, you're playing a game called, hard to get by its real name Make you believe that you just don't feel the same Oh Jane You’re driving me insane Now look what you’ve done (Jane, Jane, Jane) I play for keeps, yes I do (Jane, Jane, Jane) Oh Jane You’re driving me insane
