She began releasing music shortly after and hasn’t looked back. Her first album, Running With Scissors, reached #1 on the Indie Breakers Chart and made the Top 50 of the Official UK Charts. Janet’s second album Confessional was a brave and ambitious project, being released alongside her autobiography My Confessional. Together they offer an intimate look into a decade of the singer-songwriter’s life; from the years leading up to her appearance on the X Factor, to the present, as well as giving hope and support to those who struggle with the same sort of mental health issues Janet has faced. The release culminated in a headline UK tour in 2022 and the album hit the Billboard Top 100 in America. In addition to her live shows, Janet regularly performs online via Lounges.tv where she connects with her global audience while singing her original songs and covers. More recently, Janet was the subject of a powerful documentary aired on BBC One entitled “Janet Devlin: Young, Female and Addicted”.
