We began in July of 2006 as "Off Tha Ave" (OTAV1), a simple VB forum, but was quickly noticed as being one of the most popular tools for finding and listening to great Underground Rap Music, especially Chicago Underground Music. Around April of 2010, "Off Tha Ave" re-branded to "Off The Ave" (OTAV2) and we started evolving our ideas on the growth and promotion of good music. As of Nov. 2011, we've implemented a slew of brand new features and have expanded our global user base. But we're still dubbed a haven for all good Chicago Midwest Underground Rap Music, as our roots are still deeply dug into the Chicago/Midwest rap scene.
