I’m the rapper/ DJ/ Producer/ Audio Engineer know by the name DopeAMean a.k.a DJ Dope 100. I was born in Columbus, Ga and raised between Columbus, Atlanta, and Auburn, AL. I’ve been rapping since I was 15 with a group called Y.B.E. (Young Black Entrepreneurs), until the group split up in 2009 when I left to join the military. During my enlightenment I served one tour of duty in Afghanistan. After leaving the army I batted drug addiction, overcame it and started to get my life back together. After obtaining an associates in Information technology - networking, I decided to pick my mic back-up. I released my first album Blue Faces November 2, 2019 and a collaboration mixtape with JuiceWRLD Jan 5, 2020. Overall, I try my best to be down to earth and sane for my fans, though at times I’m anything but.
